Warehouses to cover train depots

They say that there are trains that only run once in a lifetime, but in this post there are many trains to choose from.
Today we are going to talk about the warehouse we have built in Alava for a large railway company.

Dimensions of the train storage building

For this project a pavilion model AUSTRAL TENT was chosen with the following measurements, calculated according to the UNE 1 standard3782 and CTE (Technical Building Code):

Gantry width: 18 meters
Length of structure: 75 meters
Lateral height of the building: 6.2 meters
Total covered area: 1350 m2

Roof and sides of the train depot

The pavilion was designed with a standard gable roof to facilitate water drainage and a side enclosure to protect the trains and access to the pavilion.

The carport roof: Single ply, a high-density polyester membrane coated with PVC on one side, with fireproof and waterproof treatment, was chosen.
The sides of the building: Self-supporting panels composed of two galvanized steel sheets, pre-lacquered in white, with an interior of injected rigid foam were installed.
