The Padel World Summit 2025, held on 27, 28 and 29 May in Barcelona, was the key meeting point for professionals in the sector.

Padel World Summit, a key event for the padel sector
The Padel World Summit has established itself as the largest global event dedicated to padel, with more than 6,000 professionals and 150 exhibiting companies present. Throughout the three days, much has been said about how to make this sport grow at an international level, how to apply new technologies, create collaborations between brands and give more visibility to padel at all levels.
A space for growth and innovation
During the three days of the fair, Barcelona became the nerve centre of the padel industry. The conferences, activities and exhibition areas encouraged the exchange of ideas and the creation of new business opportunities on an international level.

Our main innovations in sports roofing
During the event, we also presented some of the main technological innovations that we are applying to our roofs:
- Presurrised roofs with theOKCAS system, a technology patented by Okatent that improves the structural resistance and thermal insulation of the tents, while also reducing misting on the windows of the lanes.
- Automatically opening curtains, designed for more efficient ventilation and more comfortable use.
- Rockwool sandwich panelsa cladding solution that improves thermal and acoustic comfort. They have a self-supporting metal panel, ideal for protecting the interior from inclement weather and noise pollution. You can find out more about these side panels.
- Additional accessories such as anti-glare skirts and micro-perforated mcurtains , improve ventilation without losing protection.
Padel World Summit 2025: much more than a trade fair
Beyond the exhibition area, the Padel World Summit has been a platform to discuss the future of the sport through spaces such as the espacios como el Padel Global Conference and the Investor & Business Forum, where key issues such as sustainability, professionalisation, digitalisation and investment in infrastructures have been addressed.
This year’s edition has consolidated the event as a structural forum for the padel industry.

Real success stories presented at the Padel World Summit
During Padel World Summit 2025, we also had the opportunity to share some of our latest project highlights.
Venezia Padel Club
This structure incorporates all of Okatent’s innovations: OKCAS pressurised roofing for optimal thermal and acoustic insulation. In addition, it has a vertical garden on the outside that adds aesthetic value and contributes to environmental comfort.
Padium Padel Club
For the Padium club in Canary Wharf, we designed a paddle deck for eight courts mounted on special scaffolding over eight storeys high. The aluminium structure minimises weight and, together with the OKCAS system, ensures excellent insulation.

Suma Padel
In this installation, one of the last to be installed, we have installed a tent equipped with opaque canvas curtains to prevent glare and improve thermal insulation.
In addition, automatic side enclosures that are automatically raised and lowered, exterior signage and pressurised tarpaulin have been integrated.
La Vida Padel
At La Vida Padel in Alcobendas (Madrid), we cover 12 sports courts for La Vida Padel with a structure of more than 2,800 m².
The pavilion incorporates our patented OKCAS, which improves thermal insulation and reduces glass misting, automatic opening curtains to facilitate ventilation, anti-glare skirts and a curved design that optimises headroom.
A project that demonstrates how technique, design and functionality can go hand in hand.
Each of these projects reflects our commitment to quality, design and innovation applied to the world of padel.
Participating int the Padel World Summit 2025 has been an enriching experience for Okatent, where we have been able to present our innovations, generate new contacts and reaffirm our commitment to the growth of this sport globally.

Key trends of the Padel World Summit 2025
The Padel World Summit 2025 has clearly reflected where the sector is heading. The demand for indoor facilities continues to grow, with sports managers and clubs looking for modular solutions that allow them to maintain activity throughout the year, optimise resources and improve the user experience.
Another highlight was the importance of design. The technical and resistant structures that also add aesthetic value to the club are especially valued by visitors to our stand. It has also been a key trade fair for networking, promoting contact between professionals, architects, operators and investors in the world of padel.
