This project took us to the city of Caen, in northern France, where a sports club sought to cover multiple padel courts. The club’s main requirement was for the covers to be able to withstand the gusts of wind and snow loads. Thus, we designed a pavilion featuring a truss structure, heavy-duty anchoring, and an air-supported roof to help with snow removal and avoid possible changes in shape.
