The Padel World Summit 2025, held on May 27, 28, and 29 in Barcelona, was the key meeting point for professionals in the sector.
At Okatent ,we want to share our experience participating in this event. Over the course of three intense days, we exhibited at the trade fair, presenting our sports covers and contributing to the future of padel through innovative structural solutions.
The Padel World Summit has established itself as the world’s largest event dedicated to padel, with over 6,000 professionals and 150 exhibiting companies in attendance.
Across the three days, discussions focused on growing the sport internationally, implementing new technologies, fostering brand collaborations, and increasing visibility at all levels.
During the three-day fair, Barcelona became the epicenter of the padel industry. Conferences, activities, and exhibition zones encouraged the exchange of ideas and the creation of new international business opportunities.
At the Padel World Summit 2025, we presented our padel and tennis court cover solutions, designed to improve facility durability and player performance.

During the event, we also introduced some of our main technological innovations:
Beyond the exhibition area, the Padel World Summit served as a platform for discussing the sport’s future through spaces like the Padel Global Conference and the Investor & Business Forum, addressing key topics such as sustainability, professionalization, digitalization, and infrastructure investment.
This year’s edition confirmed the event’s status as a structural forum for the padel industry.
At Okatent, we especially value the professional format, international outlook, and commitment to continuing the event in Barcelona in the coming years.
During the Padel World Summit 2025, we also had the opportunity to showcase some of our most outstanding recent projects.
This structure features all of Okatent’s innovations: the OKCAS pressurized cover for optimal thermal and acoustic insulation. It also includes a vertical garden on the exterior, adding aesthetic value and contributing to environmental comfort.
For Padium in Canary Wharf, we designed a cover for eight courts mounted on a special scaffold over eight stories high. The aluminum structure minimizes weight, and together with the OKCAS system, ensures excellent insulation.
The project was 100% custom-built, both inside and out. You can find more details in our article: Okatent covers the exclusive Padium paddle tennis club in London.
For this recently installed facility, we built a tent equipped with opaque fabric curtains to prevent glare and improve thermal insulation.
Additionally, it features automatic lateral closures, exterior branding, and a pressurized cover.
At La Vida Padel in Alcobendas (Madrid), we covered 12 sports courts with a structure spanning over 2,800 m².
The pavilion includes our patented OKCAS system for improved thermal insulation and reduced glass condensation, automatic opening curtains for ventilation, anti-glare skirts, and a curved design to optimize clearance height.
A project that proves how technique, design, and functionality can go hand in hand.
Each of these projects reflects our commitment to quality, design, and innovation in the world of padel.
Participating in the Padel World Summit 2025 was an enriching experience for Okatent, allowing us to showcase our innovations, make new connections, and reaffirm our commitment to the global growth of this sport.
It was also a great opportunity to exchange ideas with other professionals and explore collaborations in expanding international markets.
The Padel World Summit 2025 clearly highlighted where the industry is heading. The demand for covered facilities continues to grow, with sports managers and clubs seeking modular solutions that allow year-round activity, resource optimization, and enhanced user experiences.
Another key takeaway was the importance of design. Technical and resilient structures that also add aesthetic value to clubs were especially appreciated by visitors to our stand. The fair also served as a vital networking hub, fostering connections among professionals, architects, operators, and investors in the padel world.
Finally, the event made it clear that the future lies in versatile, sustainable, quick-to-install solutions adaptable to different environments, reinforcing the role of modular construction in meeting new market needs.
Over these three days of the fair, we had the pleasure of welcoming numerous clubs, investors, architects, and padel professionals to our stand.
For the entire Okatent team, it was a pleasure to exchange ideas, showcase our latest projects, and continue building relationships with those driving this sport forward.
